We at Edapt Technologies, Inc ("Edapt," "we," "us," "our") know that you care about how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy. 

This privacy policy explains how Edapt collects and uses information from its Services and Users, including our treatment of personally identifiable information. This policy does not apply to websites or practices of companies that Edapt does not own or control, or to individuals that Edapt does not employ or manage. 

a. Information You Provide to Us - We receive and store any information you knowingly enter on the Services, whether via computer, mobile phone, other wireless device, or that you provide to us in any other way. 

b. We receive and store certain types of usage information whenever you interact with the Services; this information is not Personal Information. For example, Edapt automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, Edapt cookie information, and the page you requested. If you are using one of the common internet web browsers, you can set up your browser to either you know when you receive a cookie or deny cookie access to your computer. 

c. We also record the details of your activity on the Services, and the number and frequency of visitors to our site and its components. As a student progresses through a course, we collection information about how they interact with the course, including but not limited to, their progress through the course, grades, assessment results, and other student activities. 

a. Generally - When you use the Services,  you may set up your personal profile, perform searches and queries, and upload information through the various features, depending on the category of user ("User Category") you are registered as, and as permitted by the functionality of the Services. The information we gather from users enables us to personalize and improve our services.

b. Personal Information - The personal information you provide is used for purposes such as responding to your requests for certain information and services, customizing your experience, and communicating with you about the Services. 

Edapt collects very limited user information (Personal Information). We neither rent nor sell your Personal Information.

Edapt uses coding practices which take steps to prevent attack on our Services from web browsers and malicious scripts, by processing all actions through several permission verification checks. In addition, we conduct internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices, as well as an assessment of our encryption and physical security to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data. You may help protect against unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account. Edapt endeavors to keep your information private; however, we cannot guarantee security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user information. We allow you to access the following information about you for the purpose of viewing, and in certain situations, updating or deleting that information. This list may change as the Services change. You may currently access the following information, if your User Category allows you to input any of the following: a) Information in your user profile. b) your courses c) content in your account.

You may request deletion of your Edapt account by emailing help@edapt.ai. Please note that some unrevised information may remain in our records after revision of such information or deletion of your account, or in cached and archived pages. Some information may remain viewable elsewhere to the extent that it was copied or stored by other users. We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you delete your information, but not in a manner that would identify you personally. We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as long as you needed to provide you the Services; we may also retain and use your information as we deem it necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. 

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time for any reason. Use of information we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. If we make changes in the way we use Personal Information, we will notify you via email or posting an announcement on the Services when the change becomes effective. Users agree to be bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when he or she continues to use the Services after the changes to the Privacy Policy are in effect. 

We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from Edapt nor the information or content contained therein. Often, links to other websites are provided solely as pointers to information on topics that may be useful to the users of our Services. Please remember that when you use a link to go from Edapt to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. Your browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link on Edapt, is subject to that website's own rules and policies. Please read over those rules and policies before proceeding. 

When you use the Services, you are consenting to have your data transferred to and processed in the United States. All of Edapt's servers are currently in the United States, and we aren't able to process your information within the borders of any given country. Given this limitation, if your use of the Services or disclosure of certain information to Edapt would violate any law that is applicable to you, your right to use the Services and/or disclose such information is revoked, as it is wherever use of the Services is prohibited by law. We regularly review our compliance with this Privacy Policy. To our knowledge, we comply with the CAN SPAM Act of 2003 and the US Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of Notice, Choice, Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity, Access and Enforcement. We take all of your concerns seriously and will review any written complaints received by us. We will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between any of our members and us.
